Funny or Die Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Funny or Die is a comedy video website and film/television production company founded by Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Mark Kvamme, and Chris Henchy. The website Funny Or Die contains exclusive material from a regular staff of in-house writers, producers, and directors, and occasionally from a number of famous contributors including Judd Apatow, James Franco, and Norm Macdonald.

A viewer mentioned, "Funny or Die is not funny.Go look on the website. I just did. There was a family circus article were they replaced the captions with stuff that didn't make sense, which wasn't funny. The articles are never funny. Another top one was "Rio Olympics sounds too much like Hunger Games" were they compare the two. Not funny either. Look at the hall of fame for Funny or Die videos. Most aren't even remotely funny."

Current Employee - Administrative says

"Everyone is looking for jobs including me. The CFO is downright awful and the CEO is not friendly at all and seems to be working in a different company than we are. People are leaving left and right. They tried to gaslight us at this awful retreat telling us it's normal people are leaving every single week. This is not normal and this is not what I signed up for when I interviewed. The place is a hot mess. I wish I had known how terrible this place is when I interviewed but everyone is clearly afraid of speaking up or being honest."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"The company is collapsing. Everyone who really knew what they were doing left the company, especially the managers. The new CEO is in over his head and seems unqualified. Was a great place to work for 5 years, now it's just sad."

"Reality is a nightmare, there is no one left who knows what they are doing."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"The communication between managers and employees at the office was a major concern. The managers would gossip with the employees under them consistently, but would not make concerns known to the specific employee when there were issues. Also, the office environment is similar to high school with cliques and there was a high level of inapropriate office behavior even for the most casual work environment."

Former Employee - Coordinator says

"No opportunities for growth and salaries overall were on the lower scale for a media/tech co."

Former Employee - Producer says

"upper management is so disconnected from the staff, all of the cool stuff has been taken away from everyone, raises are few and far between, bonuses are small, a culture of fear and retaliation has set in"

Former Employee - Production Assistant says

"Production team manages through abuse No expenses covered (must sacrifice your own car and gas) Culture of throwing others under the bus"

Former Employee - Account Executive says

"Overestimated the value of the FOD brand within the advertising industry"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"The facade is strong with this one... the entire company is extremely cliquey and does not treat newcomers or new ideas with open arms. The brand is on the decline and the new CEO has no idea what he's doing (simply trying to sell the company)."

"The environment is very clique-oriented, and people are rude to newcomers. Some people are nice, but most have a "big fish in a little pond" sort of attitude. Essentially, they think they're some sort of Diva superstar. A lot of creativity and opportunities are stifled because of this."
